I create contemporary ceramic basins and homeware from my studio in West Berkshire, where I live with my husband and three children.
Working with clay has become a huge part of my life. I create pieces both on the pottery wheel and by hand using slab building and traditional handcrafting techniques, working primarily with stoneware clay. Every item is individually made and fired in my two kilns, giving each piece its own unique character that reflects the handmade process. I love exploring texture and natural forms, and I am constantly learning and evolving as an artist. Much of my inspiration comes from the countryside around me and the changing seasons outside my studio door here in beautiful Berkshire.
I first discovered ceramics while navigating the difficult period following my daughter's cancer diagnosis in 2017. Working with clay gave me something earthy and grounding to focus on, offering a sense of calm and creativity during an incredibly challenging time. What began as a form of therapy has grown into a lifelong passion and a thriving creative business. I can't imagine a day when I don't pick up a piece of clay and create.
Alongside my ceramics, I am also a qualified Pilates teacher specialising in women's health, pregnancy and postnatal care, and breast cancer recovery. Both my pottery and Pilates work are rooted in the same values; slowing down, connecting with ourselves, and finding a sense of balance and grounding in an increasingly busy world. Whether I am helping someone move with greater confidence and strength or creating a handmade piece to be treasured in their home, I am drawn to work that nurtures wellbeing, creativity and connection.

"5 out of 5 stars..."
5 out of 5 stars. Really nice ceramic moon. I very much like the colour as well. I got it as a present and she loved it. I ordered the medium size, and she said it's a great size for her, as she is using it to put the jewellery she wore on the day. I messaged Jenny before ordering and she answered really quick.

"I can't recommend this business enough..."
I ordered the blue speckled paint palette and it is seriously stunning! It's handmade and you can tell they put so much love into it. I gifted it to a friend who said “it’s too beautiful to use I want to frame it, it’s like a piece of art.” Definitely the perfect gift for any artsy friend. I can't recommend this business enough – they're top-notch!

"Perfect gift for my mum..."
I first came across jenny's work at a christmas market held at Wasing park. I had just moved into my new home so it was perfect to get something handmade. My first purchase was a spoon rest in the most perfect colours for my kitchen (result!) My recent purchase was a beautiful plant pot with the words (Plant papa) which was a perfect gift for my mum for mothers day as my papa loved gardening.
