I create contemporary ceramic basins, homeware and gifts from my studio in West Berkshire, where I live with my husband and three kids.

I love working with clay, and create pieces both on the pottery wheel and also by hand using slab rolling and handcrafted techniques. I work with stoneware clay and everything is fired in my two kilns. Each piece is unique and has its own hand crafted character. I enjoy working with texture and I’m constantly on a creative journey, learning and growing as an artist. I take inspiration from earthy colour tones, with the occasional pop of bright colour here and there. I am inspired by the nature around me and enjoy watching the seasons change outside my studio door here in beautiful Berkshire.

I discovered ceramics as an outlet for dealing with the cancer diagnosis of my daughter in 2017. Working with clay helped me to focus on something earthy and was extremely therapeutic, giving me a sense of grounding during a very tough time. It has become a huge part of my life now and I can’t imagine a day when I don’t pick up clay and create…

  • "Perfect gift for my mum..."

    I first came across jenny's work at a christmas market held at Wasing park. I had just moved into my new home so it was perfect to get something handmade. My first purchase was a spoon rest in the most perfect colours for my kitchen (result!) My recent purchase was a beautiful plant pot with the words (Plant papa) which was a perfect gift for my mum for mothers day as my papa loved gardening.
